Why Study At Tasman?
HIGHEST STANDARDS: We believe in setting very high standards, not just for ourselves but also for our business partners. We will expect the same from our students. It is our duty to do our best in managing our operations, provide services to our students, and serve the long-term interests of this country.
It is through personal ethics that we bring excellence to our overall business operations. This applies to everything that we do – training, facilities, resources, assessments, and most importantly, the people we bring on board.
INDUSTRY INFORMED: We do not want to reinvent the wheel. We do not want to reverse the natural process. Our objective is simple – let the industry tell us what it needs, what it expects, and what it wants us to deliver. We are in the service of the industry, trying to prepare ideal new entrants who can deliver on those expectations.
To this end, we want to design our operations, services, and training delivery around the industry expectations, not around our profits. We believe that if we can cater to the exact needs of the industry, the money will follow. We take our role as a provider of new employees to the industry and we want to deliver on that promise to the best of our abilities
MEANINGFUL FACILITIES: We have planned, designed, and structured our facilities to maximize learning, encourage delivery, and reduce wastage across our operations. We have given significant thought to how our facilities can contribute more positively towards the student experience.
Our classrooms, our premises, and facilities, as well as our workshop – all feature a full suite of necessary resources, tools, and equipment to ensure that our students are only limited by their aspirations. We ensure that all the services and facilities are scaled to meet the number of students.
HANDS-ON APPROACH: No other form of training is as effective as demonstration followed by practice. We have planned our entire qualifications with a major portion focussing on practicals and actual assessments rather than spending most of their time in classrooms.
We have also engaged industry professionals to allow us to structure various units in a meaningful sequence, plan more effective time distribution and allocate sufficient time to practicals. We have also consulted with the professionals to establish our workshop. We will continue to improve these and add to them as guided by industry professionals.
PEOPLE ABOVE PROFITS: Students, trainers, industry professionals – these are the stakeholders that form the core of our business.
It only makes sense to identify and understand their needs around which we can then plan our operations, activities, and business management practices.
We believe in this approach sincerely and we promise to maintain this philosophy regardless of the market conditions.
Student Support
City Campus (Theory Classes)
Tasman International College is located centrally in the Central Business District (CBD) with public transport at the doorstep and significant attractions such as the Art Gallery, Museum, Torrens River, and the Botanic Gardens.
The location facilitates the opportunity to enrich students’ overall experience by providing opportunities to enjoy the South Australian landscape and local attractions.
Holistically considering students’ experience contributes to unimpeded skill and knowledge development. This will facilitate students’ growth into future leaders in the automotive, as well as business services sectors.
The site was approved by the Adelaide Council as a class 9B premises, suitable for providing training to students. Tasman International College invested to ensure fully compliant facilities that meet the needs of students, including classrooms equipped with high-speed internet, a student library, and a computer room.

Tasman International College has a fully equipped practical workshop as per training package requirements. The workshop is also 9b approved, is close to public transport, and has onsite parking facilities.
In addition to the above locations, we may use third-party premises or services for delivery, assessment, or work placement arrangements. If such is the case, relevant service agreements, contracts, and third-party arrangements will be filed with the registration application. We will also ensure that all the third-party arrangements follow and comply with the quality guidelines or monitoring requirements that Tasman International College sets out for them as part of the arrangement.
